The process

How a family biopic is made

Every film begins the same way: with the material a family already has, and someone willing to sit with it long enough to find the story.

  1. Phase One

    You gather the fragments

Create an account and open an order. Paste links to albums, posts, videos, voice notes and documents — as many as you like. Tell us the occasion, the family name, and who the film is for. There's no upload wrangling; a link is enough.

  2. Phase Two

We read your family like a historian

A producer goes through every source, notes the recurring faces and places, and builds a timeline. Where the record has gaps we come back to you with specific questions — a name, a year, the story behind one photograph.

  3. Phase Three

    The story gets a shape

We write a narrative treatment: the through-line, the chapters, the moments that carry weight. You approve the treatment before a single frame is produced, so the film is your story told your way.

  4. Phase Four

    Production

Photographs are restored and gently brought into motion. Archival footage is cleaned and colour-matched. Narration is recorded, the score is chosen, and the chapters are cut together into a finished biopic. AI does the heavy restoration work; the editorial judgement stays human.

  5. Phase Five

    Review and delivery

You watch a private draft and send notes. After revisions, your final film arrives in keepsake quality — a private link, downloadable masters, and a version formatted for sharing with family.

Why we started

Moses Creative Legacies began with a shoebox: photographs nobody could name, and a grandfather whose stories went unrecorded. We built the studio we wished our own family had — one that treats ordinary domestic history with the seriousness usually reserved for the famous.

Your archive is safe with us. Source material is used only to produce your film, never shared, sold or published without your written permission.
